Bioassay Lab Expansion, Edmonton

We have just expanded our Edmonton rainbow trout bioassay laboratory.   This CALA accredited facility was previously limited by the number of rainbow trout acute toxicity bioassays that could be conducted at one time.  To solve this capacity issue, we expanded the area and the efficiency our laboratory space.  These improvements over double the number of rainbow trout bioassays that can be conducted at one time.

This effort was initiated based on important feedback from our clients.   It will provide greater scheduling flexibility and allow acceptance of larger trout bioassay projects.

If you have any questions about CARO’s acute toxicity bioassay capabilities or service offerd by our Edmonton laboratory please contact Ingrid Carelton-Dodds (Edmonton’s Laboratory Manager and Toxicologist) or Doug Johnson (Alberta’s Business Manager).  Both will be more than happy to assist you.
