Holiday Festivities have been in full swing here at CARO, and for the third straight year, we have been bringing joy to sampling staff across Western Canada through our “CARO-ling” coolers.
If this is the first time you are hearing of our CARO-ling coolers, we recommend that you watch the youtube video we made last year here- CARO-Ling Coolers.
In summary, we hide light activated sound modules inside our coolers before we fill them with sampling supplies and ship them to our clients. When the coolers are opened in the field prior to sample collection, our clients are pleasantly surprised by Christmas carols and sudden feelings of festive joy (or at least we hope so).
The song choice this year was “Let it Snow” which should have included a disclaimer that any snow seemingly brought about by a CARO-ling cooler was not a result of our music makers, especially in the usually snow-bare Lower Mainland of BC. Fun snow fact: In 1988, Nancy Knight (USA), a scientist at the National Center for Atmosphere Research in Boulder, Colorado, USA, found two identical snow crystals that came from a storm in Wisconsin.
As 2016 draws to a close, we are busy reflecting on the year and are kindly asking our clients to please take two minutes to fill out our online feedback form, here, or give us a review on google!
Thank you and Happy Holidays from the entire CARO team!
