CBC -The Nature of Things with David Suzuki – – Tipping Point: Age of the Oil Sands.
While this documentary highlights only one perspective, what we at CARO take away from it is that more responsibility in leadership in environmental issues is being downloaded to the private sector. A large portion of CARO’s current workload originates in Alberta, as we extend our services to clients and communities beyond the Rockies. We are working on innovative technologies that help lower detection limits, to expose compounds at levels that may impact the long term health of humans and ecosystems. Such projects include the development of VOCs by ITEX, and the detection of compounds which are currently being highlighted as potential contaminants of concern i.e. Siloxanes.
Our clients benefit from our innovative practices and knowledge, as we help them overcome challenges and provide real world solutions for their sites and projects. We also work closely with many clients in developing new technologies and practices, so that they too can become leaders in their respective fields. Through collaboration and the free exchange of information, we strive to help them succeed in the competitive marketplace within which they exist. We are always looking for new challenges and interesting ways to help our clients succeed, so please contact us anytime to discuss your analytical projects.
