Using CARO’s Online Portal (CCI) Just got Easier!

Attention all CCI Users and CCI Onlookers (yes we see you checking out the system from afar, and we’re about to make it even more tempting!): CARO’s online portal CCI has some NEW FEATURES that we can’t wait to share with you!

These features, as well as all the features still to come, are important steps on our journey to streamlining how clients and labs connect and collaborate.

#1.  NEW Advanced Search Features

We have expanded the search function within the CCI, so you can find all your orders 5x easier!

We get it: not everyone can recall their 7-digit alphanumeric CARO workorder identifier on the spot, and why should you have to?  Starting NOW, you can search for your workorders using any of the features of your project that are easier to remember, including:

• Sample name(s)
• Project details
• PO number
• Receiving lab… and more!

The next time you’re trying to find a particular dataset, give the Advanced Filters a try!

#2.  Improved Bottle Order Search Functions

Keeping on the theme of making things easier, we have also improved searchability on the CCI bottle order page, so it’s easier to find what you’re looking for…  without really knowing what you’re looking for. 😉

#3.  NEW eCOC Features

In addition to a few minor tweaks designed to improve the eCOC experience (we’re all about continual improvement!), we’ve made our most beloved feature on the CCI even better with new features based entirely on user feedback:

• CARO Location.  You can now select the CARO lab location where you will be sending your samples, so you can easily filter by receipt lab later on (see #1, above).
• eCOC DRAFTS.  If you’re using the eCOC to prepare for a field program, sharing paperwork/sampling duties with a colleague, waiting for a few questions to get answered before you submit your eCOC, or simply running short on time, you can now save your working eCOC as a draft and return to it when you have the time and information you need.
• Time Zone Correction.  WHOOPS!  We messed this one up the first time (get it, time?!)  The eCOC PDF will now display dates and times in your current time zone.
